Project Summary:

“Road of Europe” is an engaging youth exchange program aimed at fostering integration and understanding among young emigrants in Europe. This project will bring together participants from six different countries—Norway, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Slovakia, and Spain—to address issues such as xenophobia and barriers to integration.

Objectives:

• To facilitate the integration of young emigrants into society.
• To raise awareness about the challenges faced by young emigrants.
• To combat xenophobic attitudes and stereotypes.
• To develop personal, professional, and social skills for better adaptability in any country.

Participants:

• Young people aged 18-30 from Norway, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Slovakia, and Spain.
• Each country will send 4 participants: 3 young people (aged 18-30) and 1 group leader (no age limit).

Criteria for selection:

➢ Fluency in English.
➢ 18 – 30 years old (except a team leader).
➢ Genuine engagement and motivation to learn.
➢ Willingness to share personal and professional knowledge.
➢ Travelling from Croatia.

COSTS

This project is co-funded by the European Commission through the ERASMUS+ Programme, so all costs like travel, accommodation, and food during the exchange duration are covered.

Erasmus + program is covering the total costs of accommodation and food (3 meals per day) during the youth exchange.

There is an annual membership for joining our mobility projects. The membership price differs for active and passive members, volunteers, or newcomers, so for detailed info click here.

TRAVEL

Participants buy tickets with the organizers’ help, and travel costs will be reimbursed after the project. The maximum travel reimbursement budget for a participant from Croatia is 275,00 €. You can find more info about travel in the info pack.

Additional Information:

• Participants are expected to actively engage in all activities.
• Cultural nights will be organized where each country can present its culture through traditional music, dances, and food.
• Special dietary needs or health concerns must be communicated in advance through the application form.
