About the project
Throughout this exchange, participants from Croatia, CZ Republic, Italy, Greece, Romania and Spain will work on bullying on a global level. The number of displaced people we have seen in recent years is the highest in history, with one refugee for every 160 people rising to one for every 113 in just ten years. By the end of 2022, 70.5 million people were forcibly displaced worldwide as a result of persecution, conflict, violence or human rights violations – 2.000.000 more than the previous year. Of these more than 70.5 million, one-third are refugees, people who, because of a well-founded fear of persecution for reasons of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group or political opinion, are outside the country of their nationality and are unable or unwilling to avail themselves of the protection of their country, or are unable or, because of such fear, unwilling to return to their country of nationality.
After analysing this rather enlightening context of the current situation in which we find ourselves, we must become aware and act through actions such as the one we propose in this initiative in the form of a youth exchange.
The objectives of the project
Once this context that explains the reason for the presentation of this exchange has been set out, we go on to specify the general objectives:
- Facilitate coexistence and comprehensive inclusion and prevent violence in any of its forms (upward and downward violence, gender violence, harassment, xenophobia, violent conflict resolution, abuse, cyber-bullying etc.) in the entities, educational centres, social environments, etc.
- Improve the inclusion of young refugees, immigrants and asylum seekers through awareness-raising and the implementation of inclusive actions.
Working methods
Our Youth Exchange will be non-formal learning. It means that learning is based on your experience, your motivation and your needs. During the exchange, non-formal education methods and methods that assure balance between theory and practice will be used such as presentations, group works, workshops, games, role plays, exercises, etc.
The language of the project will be English.
