“True or False?” will be a Youth Exchange Project implemented with financial support from the European Commission and the ERASMUS+ Programme. Accommodation, food, as well as activities costs, will be covered by the project budget.

PROJECT SUMMARY
There is so much information “data collectors” have about us, and the segmentation tools of some social networks are so precise, that those data are used to allow each person to be delivered the news they would like to receive each day. This power is what makes social networks very dangerous and makes it essential to stop giving credibility to everything that is related to our thinking or ideology. It is also a priority to stop forwarding and give visibility to any information that we do not know with certainty is true.
Main objectives of the project:
1. To train and propose strategies for YE participants and target audience when it comes to preventing the dissemination of this type of news and the consequent misinformation that this causes, both in the digital and on paper fields.
2- To encourage critical thinking in the youngest as the only effective weapon to combat the
manipulation of thought that leads to uncivil and hateful thoughts, behaviours and acts.
WORKING METHODS
Our Youth Exchange will be non-formal learning. It means that learning is based on your experience, your motivation, and your needs. During the exchange, non-formal education methods and methods that assure balance between theory and practice will be used such as presentations, group works, workshops, games, role plays, exercises, etc.
PARTICIPANTS PROFILE
We are looking for 3 participants and 1 team leader who are:
- age 18 – 30,
- Croatian residents,
- able to communicate in English,
- strongly motivated to engage in the project,
- have the interest to learn and are willing to participate actively,
- The team leader has to be at least 18 years old and there is no upper age limit (that means if you are older than 30 you can apply for the team leader position 😉 ).

COSTS
This project is financed by Erasmus +, so all costs like travel, accommodation, and food during the exchange duration are covered.
Erasmus + program is covering total costs of accommodation and food (3 meals per day + snacks with a coffee break) during the youth exchange.
There is an annual membership for joining our mobility projects. The price of membership is different for active and passive members, volunteers, or newcomers, so for detailed info click here. Membership has to be covered 3 weeks before the departure date.
TRAVEL
Arrival: Valencia Airport, 16th of September (before 14:00h)
Departure: Valencia Airport, 21st of September (after 15:00h)
Participants are buying tickets with the help of organizers and travel costs are going to be reimbursed after the project. The maximum travel reimbursement budget for a participant from Croatia is 275 EUR.
DO I NEED TO KNOW SOMETHING MORE?
Yes. There is no participation fee. But you are agreeing with the rules and conditions by signing a participation contract and including it in the application. Applications without a signed contract and CV are not going to be accepted. So, better be serious and read all the info about the project one more time including your personal time management.

SELECTED PARTICIPANTS
Selected participants, as well as candidates on the waiting lists, will be informed about the results until the 30th of July. If you are going to be selected, you will need to fill in the application form for the organisers, which is mentioned in the info pack.
