Seems like the labour market has something against you? You have already sent 100+ CVs and there is no job for you? Experience lacking? Skills leaking?
Well, we are offering you the unique opportunity to come to the Canary Islands to discuss this problem with your peers from Belgium, Spain, and Croatia! You will have the opportunity to learn in a non-formal environment, share ideas about personal branding, work in the international team, and participate in different kinds of interesting activities related to the topic of youth employment and personal branding for one full week in the magical place!
Youth exchange “Value of Youth” will gather 24 participants from 3 different countries in Las Palmas, the heart of Gran Canaria, from 8th until the 15th of May 2022. <3
This project is financed by Erasmus +, so all costs like travel, accommodation and food are covered.
Methods
By means of non-formal education and experiential learning, the participants will engage in a wide range of
workshops, that shall facilitate learning and conclusions related to their own employment, passions, strength, opportunities and self-esteem, relevant for future job-seeking processes or creations.
The learning process of the participants will be facilitated through group dynamics, expression games and body communication, creative learning, individual and group work and reflections, thinking out of the box.
Participant’s profile
- Age: 21-30 years;
- Currently being unemployed is a requirement;
- Open to self-reflection and expression;
- Committed to promoting the Erasmus+before during and after the project;
- Fully vaccinated 14 days prior to the activity;
- All participants selected for this YE must be actively involved in the organization and in general in the youth field in their community;
- All participants must be on time for all sessions, respecting all the programs of the training and holistic coliving.
COSTS
This project is financed by Erasmus +, so all costs like travel, accommodation, and food (3 meals per day + snacks) during the exchange duration are covered.
There is an annual membership for joining our mobility projects. The price of membership is different for active and passive members, volunteers, or newcomers, so for detailed info click here.
TRAVEL
Participants are buying tickets with the help of organizers and travel costs are going to be reimbursed after the project. The maximum travel reimbursement budget for a participant from Croatia is 530 EUR (both ways).
DO I NEED TO KNOW SOMETHING MORE?
Yes. There is no participation fee. But you are agreeing with the rules and conditions by signing the participant contract and including it in the application. Applications without a signed contract and CV are not going to be accepted. Better be serious and read all the info about the project one more time and check out your availability for the dates of the exchange.

SELECTED PARTICIPANTS
Selected participants will be informed about the results on the 9th of April 2022.
TO GOOD TO BE TRUE?
Even we are offering participation in this project “for free” it doesn’t mean it is free. As an organization, we are covering project administration costs and our young volunteers are working hard, investing their energy, knowledge and time to make this opportunity possible. Why? Because we are in love with mobility and striving to open even more international opportunities for young people and youth workers in Croatia and wider who invest time in self-development and make positive changes in their environments.
