Summary
The project “Building Cultural Bridges” consists of two training courses about intercultural dialogue and cross-community cooperation for fighting against the hate speech and radicalisation of young people.
About the project
Cultural diversities are within lifestyles, traditions, histories, gender, education, minorities as traditional, sexual and new minorities, refugees, migrants, etc. of young people. We believe if we have time and support to prepare, implement and evaluate projects based on the active participation of young people, we can change our and their local communities’ points of view about cultural diversity. Make it understand that cultural diversity is a useful issue and it makes people’s life richer and more colourful. This is the reason for what we invented to realise this long-term training course. This project is also about helping youth workers to develop long-term sustainable youth work programmes directed towards developing competencies of young people needed for active participation in a colourful and respectable society. Through local and European youth work methods, tools, techniques, events, campaigns, local projects, and European projects we will celebrate cultural diversity all over Europe and fight against the radicalisation of young people.
The overall aim of the project is to train youth workers and youth leaders on being able to multiply human rights in the youth field emphasis on cultural diversity with the active participation of young people using a non-formal methodology and cross-community cooperation.

TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE?
Even though we are offering participation in this project “for free” it doesn’t mean it is free. As an organization, we are covering project administration costs and our young volunteers are working hard, investing their energy, knowledge and time to make this opportunity possible. Why? Because we are in love with mobility and striving to open even more international opportunities for young people and youth workers in Croatia and wider who invest time in self-development and make positive changes in their environments.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO SUPPORT OUR SMALL STEPS TO GREAT POSITIVE CHANGES?
One wise man (or more likely woman) once said: “If you don’t ask, you can’t get.” Our projects would be even more productive and beneficial with small financial injections. So, please, feel invited to invest in youth education, future and entrepreneurial spirit. <3
