4th Industrial Revolution: Employment trends in Slettestrand

On the training course “4th Industrial Revolution” that took place in Slettestrand, Denmark, between 23 November and 2 December 2021, participated 3 Croatian girls: Lucija Šerbeđija, Katarina Dergez and Dinka Berislavić.

In addition to Croatia, there were other participants from Romania, Hungary, Italy, Turkey, the Czech Republic and Greece. Altogether 24 participants.

The training course aims to increase the likelihood of employment of young people, by strengthening the skills of youth workers in current employment trends. Through the training week, participants strengthened skills such as emotional intelligence, data literacy, critical thinking and cultural sensitivity. 

The objectives of the activity were: to raise awareness of the most important employment trends, to educate young people about the most sought-after employment skills today, to share employers’ experiences regarding employment trends and skills, to provide tools and methods to support young people to develop valuable skills for the labour market and, last but not least, to bring young people from disadvantaged groups closer to their employment opportunities.

By participating in this course, the girls strengthened their skills for employment, got to know themselves better, improved their communication skills in English, shared their experience, but also made new friends and of course had a great time!
