ABOUT THE PROJECT
The needs we want to address with this training are:
1. To learn a new technique for the design of creative, collaborative and sustainable projects, which will improve the quality of our projects.
2. To acquire new tools to improve the employability, participation and motivation of the young people with whom we work, especially those at disadvantaged situations.
3. To provide strategic vision to our youth workers and trainers, so that they can contribute to improving our organisations.
The main activity of the project is a Dragon Dreaming training course which duration will be 7 days. Each entity will select participants such as youth workers, trainers and other staff involved in the strategic development, through an open and public process who are interested to attend the course. We want to carry out this project because we think that the Dragon Dreaming method is a very useful and comprehensive tool for individuals and entities, to transform their dreams, into successful, realistic and sustainable projects, with which they can also help or inspire other young people.
Dragon Dreaming method supports managing projects of any kind, focusing on the deep engagement of every member. It offers methods for the realisation of creative, collaborative and sustainable projects and organisations.
The method integrates holistic aspects which have long been ignored, separated or divided in our culture: our right and left brain hemispheres, logic and intuition, individual and environment, theory and practice, thought and action, work and play, success and failure.
PARTICIPANT’S EXPERIENCE FROM RECENT DRAGON DREAMING PROJECT IN CANTABRIA
PARTICIPANTS PROFILE
We are looking for 1 participant who is:
- 18 plus,
- Croatian resident,
- youth worker, young leader, active member of associations,
- fluent in English,
- strongly motivated to engage in the project,
- has the interest to learn and are willing to participate actively,
- wants to boost the quality of projects.
COSTS
This project is financed by Erasmus +, so all costs like travel, accommodation, and food during the exchange duration are covered.
Erasmus + program is covering full costs of accommodation and food (3 meals per day + snacks with a coffee break) during the training course.
There is an annual membership for joining our mobility projects. The price of membership is different for active and passive members, volunteers, or newcomers, so for detailed info click here.
TRAVEL
Participants are buying tickets with the help of organizers and travel costs are going to be reimbursed after the project. The maximum travel reimbursement budget for a participant from Croatia is 275 EUR.
DO I NEED TO KNOW SOMETHING MORE?
Yes. There is no participation fee. But you are agreeing with rules and conditions by signing the participant contract and including it in the application. Applications without a signed contract and CV are not going to be accepted. So, better be serious and read all the info about the project one more time including your personal time management.

SELECTED PARTICIPANTS
As this is an urgent call, the first candidate who applies and does all the necessary administration work will be accepted to a project.
TO GOOD TO BE TRUE?
Even we are offering participation in this project “for free” it doesn’t mean it is free. As an organization, we are covering project administration costs and our young volunteers are working hard, investing their energy, knowledge and time to make this opportunity possible. Why? Because we are in love with mobility and striving to open even more international opportunities for young people and youth workers in Croatia and wider who invest time in self-development and make positive changes in their environments.
